Hambleton Primary Schools, Secondary Schools & PreSchools in the Oakham School area

It’s a good school in general, some teacher are good. The school gives you help and support when need.

This is a brilliant secondary school, if you live in Rutland. It's pretty spacious, so there aren't large crowds. The teachers here where really helpful and friendly, they helped me to turn from a D grade student, into a C grade student (but most of it was my own hard work). Don't listen to one or two star reviews on this school, as they are just ex-student annoyed at the school (for some reason). Also the architecture of this school is really impressive.

I attended Oakham School for two years in the upper school. I had a brilliant experience. Coming from another School I was anxious that I would feel like an outsider, but the teachers and pupils were extremely welcoming, and I fast felt like I had been there for years. I also was able to study Economics and Politics, which I would not have been able to at any other local education provider. I went on amazing trips including to New York and Washington where I visited various political and business landmarks. I really enjoyed being a part of a House and the family feel this had. A particular highlight of my days at Oakham were the School lunches that were fantastic, the catering team worked hard to offer a wide range of food that was of a high quality. I would highly recommend Oakham School to any individual that wants a well-rounded education that goes beyond the walls of the classroom.
